How to get to Tropfest?
Catch the Tropfest Pineapple Express! It takes just 23 minutes to get from Central to the finals of this annual short film contest.
If you’re thinking of going to Tropfest at Parramatta Park this Saturday, 11 February, then why not board the special Pineapple Express to get there?
A pineapple is this year’s Tropfest signature item. That is, it has to appear in every film entered into the contest. So join in with the Tropfest theme. It’s also the fastest way to get to the festival.
Another lovely way of getting to Parramatta from the city is on the ferry, but this will take considerably longer. On a good day, though, it’s hard to beat. But be aware that return ferries stop around 1930 (7.30 pm). So you’ll need to take the train back.

If you don’t want to get there too early, but still want a premium position, you can buy ‘Pick Your Patch’ tickets online at www.ticketek.com.au and, if not sold out prior, on the day at the Ticket Box, at the south end of Parramatta Park.
