Sydney Airport Shuttle

by Steve
(South Africa)

I have been told there is a train or shuttle that runs between the Sydney domestic airport and the international departures airport.

How often do they run?

Can you tell me more about this, or where I can find info on this.

My wife and I will be coming to Brisbane in March 2012 for a few days and then we will be returning to South Africa via Sydney international airport.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

You can go from domestic to international by bus, train, taxi or limousine.

There's a bus service called T-Bus. This is a shuttle that goes very frequently during peak hours and then half hourly the rest of the day. It takes about 10 minutes and costs AUD$5.50 per person.

The train takes 2 minutes and costs AUD$5 per person. It runs more frequently than the bus - every 6-15 minutes, depending on the time of day.

Limousines and taxis are more expensive but you won't have to wait.

To get an oversight of all the options available go to Sydney Airport Shuttle

It's pretty straightforward, just leave enough time to do it without undue stress.
